How to Use the GAG2 WFL Trade Calculator

What Win / Fair / Loss means in Grow a Garden 2 trading, how the GAG2 WFL calculator decides a verdict, and how to check any trade in about thirty seconds.

Updated — numbers in this guide recompute from the live value list.

What WFL means

WFL stands for Win / Fair / Loss — trading shorthand for the only question that matters: after this trade, did you come out ahead, even, or behind? Traders post an offer and ask "WFL?"; the GAG2 WFL calculator answers it with the current value list instead of whoever shouts first in chat.

Checking a trade in thirty seconds

  • Open the trade calculator.
  • Under You give, add everything leaving your inventory — pick each item's variant and set the quantity.
  • Under You get, add everything coming back.
  • Read the verdict. That's it — no sign-up, and the totals update as you edit.

How the verdict is decided

Both sides are totalled using each item's listed value for the exact variant you picked — the same numbers shown on the value list. If the totals land within 10% of each other (measured against the bigger side), the trade is Fair. Outside that band, it's a Win for whoever receives more value and a Loss for the other side.

A live example, using today's numbers: say you give one Ice Serpent (7,900) and get 4 Raccoon at 1,600 each — 6,400 total. The gap works out to 19.0%, so the calculator calls it a Loss for you. When the value list next updates, this paragraph recalculates with it.

Why some items don't count

If a variant is marked "insufficient data" on the list, the calculator shows it in your trade but leaves it out of the total, and it will refuse to give a verdict for a side made only of unpriced items. That's on purpose: a verdict built on a guessed number is worse than no verdict. How numbers earn their way onto the list is covered in the methodology, and how to negotiate unpriced items is in the safe trading guide.

Sharing a trade

Once a trade is built, hit Copy trade link under the verdict. Anyone who opens the link sees the same two sides, priced with the list as it stands — handy for settling a "WFL?" argument in your server with something better than screenshots.
